birthdays.

this past weekend was joe &terry's birthday (both their bday is actually today!), so they decided to celebrate together. saturday was their picnic in mira mesa. fun times. great weather. terry's amazing, she brought soooo much food. korean bbq, chicken, hot dogs (veggie too.), kimchi, etc. there was so much meat. good stuff terry. the boys played softball most of the afternoon, but for their last game a couple of ladies joined in. instead of playing i took pictures. around 7ish we all started to pack up &head out. a couple of us (me, edric, klev, cha, julz, &gerald) went to eastlake brew house to support joe & flex. tons of people. tons of familiar faces. tons of hood people. then after we headed to 923 cause the bday people &the rest said that they were gonna go there, but nope. everyone was tired. even we were tired so we called it a night around 1230. the next day we headed to crab hut for joe &terry's bday dinner. we were all excited to eat at crab huuuuuttt. good stuff. but stinky clothes &fingers afterwards.

every tuesday a few of us partake in taco tuesday. this tuesday there was only four of us (me, klev, gian, &josie) , since we were all low on ends we decided to just go to el torito's. since we finished kinda early we decided to wonder the mall. after, a couple of us didn't want to call it a night yet, so we took a little trip over the blue (coronado) bridge &took some photos. a few weeks ago i bought this flexible tripod, so i tested it out, it works! but i think i want to buy a better one.

sunday funday V. 03.22.

yesterday we (me, klev, gerald, edric, vince, &christine) went to seaport village for sunday funday. we didn't know where to go cause early sunday, it rained. but luckily around 2ish the clouds started to roll out. before heading to seaport we, minus gold medalist bb vince, were hungry so we headed to shakespeare pub &grill in mission hills 'cause my fatass has been craving fish n' chips for a while. pretty good, but pricey for what we got. i got a txt early from edric saying that his tattoo artist said point loma seafood had bomb fish n' chips. according to mark they have good clam strips, smoked tuna sandwich, &the best tartar sauce &lemonade. i shall hit up that place sometimes this week to see if mark's right. anywho, after shakespeare we got gelato down the block at gelato vero caffe even though it was cold. good stuff. then off to meet up with the gold medalist at seaport village. edric &i took some shots, then we all decided to walk to manchester grand hyatt. we took some beautiful pictures on top of the hyatt &also at their pool club area.

friday &saturday. 03.20-21.

hello. a few of you know that i hardly go out friday's due to family stuff, but this past friday i was lucky enough to go out, &thankfully there was something going on. first i met up with the boys at seau's for happy hour in the sushi area. klev didn't know i was going, surprise. after that we went to onyx/thin cause edric &julian dj'd. for the first time in a very long time i actually drank a lot. it wasn't a lot, but since i'm weak sauce now, it was a lot. saw some face that i haven't seen in a while. oh how i've missed christine &michelle. all i could say was good times. the next day was the big event Soulstice3 @ U31. another successful night. amazing dj's, great music, dancing &drinking. once again i was drunk, but not as much as the night before, i think. but good times once again. no photos from friday night, sorry.

butt's up.

lately a bunch of the boys &sometimes a couple of the girls have been playing butt's up. if you don't know what butt's up is then youre missing out. it's a lot of fun &laughs. lets see if i could explain the game (i suck ass on explaining things), so there's a group of people throwing a tennis ball on a wall, when the ball comes back you have to try to catch it with one hand if you don't & you touch the ball you have to run &tap the wall before another person gets the ball &throws it. if the ball hits the wall before you hit the wall then you have to stand facing the wall &the person who threw the ball gets to hit you with the ball. this goes on until one person is left or until we get tired or kicked out. i guess the basic rules are catch the ball with one hand. throw the ball with that hand you caught it with. after getting hit 2 times, the 3rd time everyone thats still in the game get to hit you with the ball. there are different rules, but they change all the time. those are the basic rules, i guess. all i know is that it's fun, funny, & sometimes painful. &oh the more the merrier. here are videos for past butt's up tournaments courtesy on 5&ADime's 5DTV.

sunday funday IV.

so yesterday for sunday funday we went to valley view casino to be porkers. our original plan for sunday funday was to go to body worlds at the sdnhm. but one of our crew members couldnt make cause she had work. so we postponed that &decided to go to valley view to grub then decide on where we should take pictures. but since it was a sunday the valley view buffet was mad crazy. we had to wait in line to get a time to come back. we got there around 4 but couldnt eat til 7ish. oh wait, can't leave this part out, before all this we (me, klev, cha, &gerald) all met up at edric's crib so that we could just take one ride. since i didn't drive, gerald, edric, klev, &cha played rock-paper-scissor to see who would drive. guess who drove klev. thinking the others would choose rock, klev chose paper, but everyone else chose scissor. HAH. it was funny had to be there. anywho back to valley view, on the way there we saw some pretty spots &random things that would be great photos, but since we didn't finish grubbing til about 9pm (we started eating around 730pm) it was too dark to take photos. so no photos for this sunday funday, sorry guys. (actually cha has photos of the food, when i get them i'll post 'em.). damn that food was good. i had crab legs that were on steroids. & i couldn't get enough of those crepes with chocolate, whip, &bananas. so damn good. it was worth the ends (24bones) &the wait. LA again. 03.14.

geez. this past week i've been to LA three times. crazy. each time i went, i fell in-love with LA more &more. (aside from the traffic &stupid drivers). because of that i have came to conclusion that when i start looking for a job again, i will focus on finding a job in LA. so for all you LA folks or for those who have salon, video/movie set, or photography connects that need a hairstylist or assistant stylist. holler at cha girl! anyways, so this past saturday we (me, klev, gian, &josie) headed up to LA once again for the HellzBellz sample sale at archrival &just to galavant through the streets of LA. before heading up we stopped by fontana to scoop up josie's cousin kelly. after picking up kelly, our frist stop was archrival for the sample sale. got there around 1145, the sale started at noon. there were about 30-40 people in line, but since hellz were our friends we go first dibs. sorry ladies. too bad it was really a sample sale. almost everything was in a small. small is a no go for me. but i still came up with a black hoodie. josie came up with a brown one of a kind jacket. lucky skinny bitch. jk. after we headed to weller court to eat at curry house. good stuff but my curry wasn't spicy enough. then off to the hundreds again to pick up some shoes for edric, then off to joyrich to pick up a bomber jacket for cha. youre welcome guys! our last stop was thai bbq. my fave grubbery in LA. anywho we had to head back down right away cause we all wanted to make an appearance at the mustache party. good times. we were sweating machine dancing &boogie-ing to great tunes. fun times again. only a few of us were lucky enough to see the streaker, but if you didn't see it, youre in luck it was caught on tape. well i'm going to end it at that since SOMEONE said i write stories! ciao bella!

so tuesday a few us (me, klev, gian, josie, &julz.) did our weekly. this time we went to el torito for taco tuesday. julz took off right after he ate cause he was heading up to LA with some others for the hellzxstussyxlovemadexbam's bday thang at ecco ultra lounge. he was trying to convince use to go. we caved in. so right after we ate i wanted to go buy a new fit cause i looked like shit &i didnt want to drive back home. so i couldn't really find anything that i really digged, so i had to settle with something that was okay. &i finally bought the boots that i've been wanting, that was the highlight of my of my outfit. but guess what i didn't wear anything i bought cept the boots. anyways so around 800pm we headed out 'cause bam told us to be there before 1030 cause it was gonna be crackin'. got there at 930. thanks bubs for driving. had an amazing time. glad i decided to go. saw tons of familiar faces. tons of SD kids. but too bad we had to leave early (1230) cause gian &josie had to go to work early.

sunday funday III. 03.08.

bueno! so i'm finally catching up on my blogs i guess. i've (&others) been wanting to go up to LA for a while. but shit would either happen or no money honey. so finally this past sunday a few of us (me, klev, edric, cha, &hanna.) went on a little road trip up to LA. our initial plan was to leave SD at 10am. but someone (cha!) lagged, so we didn't leave 'til 1045. on the way up we were trying to re-active edric's sirus, cause we didn't want to listen to top 40's on the radio &edric didn't bring his ipod. so we thought it would be an easy process since he had it before but nope. long story short, FAILED! anyways, when we got up there it was crunch time. since it was a sunday shops closed early. our first stop was roscoe's on gower. world famous mark marcelo graced us with his presence, along with a couple of friends. after we headed to la brea, fairfax, then melrose to take some pictures &those who had ends shopped. on the way to these places our driver decided he wanted to bump espanol music at stop lights, so embarassing. &i guess LA stations are all about kid cudi's day &night, &jamie foxx's blame it, 'cause whenever we'd tune into LA stations that's all we heard. after all the shops closed, i suggested that we go to griffith observatory, since i've always wanted to go so we went. nice place. great view of the city. we saw venus, saturn, &some constellation. pretty sick. oh but before that something HILARIOUS happened. i don't really wanna get into much details or say who, but some called a certain store cause we wanted cupcakes, but the store that he/she thought was a cupcake place wasn't a cupcake place. had to be there. hah! love you. after the observatory we headed down the hill &ate at some diner, i forgot what it was called (something 62, i think). at first i was pissed cause it was self seating,&a table opened up that was big enough for all of us so we headed towards it, but these two guys who were there before us had to announce to the restuarant "hey we were here first." so whatevers we let them have the table, but the stupid thing was there we 2 seats next to one another that was open at the counters, but fuckers had to take the big ass booth! i was pissed cause we had to wait a little longer! i was hungry &i wanted to go home &sleep. they're lucky i didn't say anything to them, cause if you know me, you know i can get bitchy &i can raise hell. you don't want any of this kid!
